Does anyone know a shortcut to replace the cabin fan in a 240-81?

Unfortunately, it does not exist. It is just to start taking all the panels away, all defrosters and fold the carpet away. Close the heating tubes by clamps and loosen the tubes. Loosen all the fastening bolts you can find. Loosen all the wires for airflow adjustment and electrical connections. Loosen the glove compartment. Loosen actually everything around the unit. Loosen the panels for extra instruments. Loosen every single tube for the airflow. Take out the unit to the right side. When the unit is out, it will be nothing between the foot wells, just free space! When the heating unit is out, you split it easily into two halfes and change the cabin fan. It is impossible to do it without taking the unit out. (Dont think about the fact that if you had owned a 740 or 940, the fan would have been changed within 15 minutes.)
Just to get some idea about the size of the job, I know every single step I have to do, where to find every single screew, I know exactly what tools to be used, it takes me 3

thanks- I have been putting it off due to the time involved. I think it is just the blade that is broke out, the motor still works with the 3 speeds.
