Instrument Lights for Manual AC Controls

Post by Tsquared »

I am having problems locating replacement bulbs for my AC controls. The stealer wants $14 each for these $2 bulbs (the closest real dealer is 40 miles and this is something my local mechanic buys from the stealer and re-sells at his cost - $14 each). I have performed a search on them here at MVS and Kragen Auto (Advance Auto here in the South) is said to have them. I tried and was unsucessful at Advance. I have tried all of the local auto parts houses without any sucess.

If anyone has a local parts house that these are available and is willing to "help a brother out" send me a private message and we will work a deal.

TIA

unfortunately i have not ever seen them at any other place than the dealer, at least in a form that just screws in. why not try a place like borton volvo or fcp groton? http://www.fcpgroton.com/ not sure of the borton link, theres a sticky post on the FWD volvospeed site with various volvo vendors.

pretty sure when i bought mine from the dealer they were not $14 each....

Thanks for the info.

The local dealer here in NE Atlanta is a stealer - they add an additional markup to all parts. I can drive 40 miles to Athens and get parts for more reasonable prices.

The car prices are fairly reasonable but they sick it to you on non-warranty parts. A friend of mine was the Service Manager there until he got fed up with their practices and moved to a premium Asian car dealer.
