Folks, where can I get a replacement hose for the top of the IAC - idle air control valve? Mine just broke while starting PCV replacement.

Just go to Home Depot and find some good braided hose to replace it with. If you want the real thing, here you go.

I cannot find it on your site, and I already looked.
This is the short hose that goes from the top of the IAC to the top of the vacuum tree. It has two different inner diameters....
Can you give me a direct link? I can post a photo....

Every time I have vacuum hose problems I go to my dealership and they're happy to cut me a big length of hose for free.

Are you looking for this hose, in the first two posts. I am afraid it is only dealer, unless the chaps at the top of the page keep it. Prepare to return all your empties to finance the purchase

BINGO - that is the hose. I got one from Volvo parts ATL. I kept telling him the hose from IAC to Vacuum tree..... He said he never heard of a vacuum tree. Any other names for the vacuum tree????tailor wrote:https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=18816

My local indy in Tallahassee FL (I am 45mins away in South GA) didnt stock this hose. However he said in a pinch he has used duck tape to get by until he could get a new hose.
It is funny that post you showed me list two hoses I need. I also need to replace the rear coolant hose above the heat shroud. Many thanks!

Thanks for the part number. I got one ordered.
Hi,
Interesting that we both live in Tallahassee, Fl.
I have just discovered/used this site/forum in the past few weeks.
They are very, very user friendly and can communicate in layman's
terms that I, a self proclaimed novice, can understand and navigate the
advice.
For your own information, there is a Volvo used and new parts supplier
located in Atlanta called Voluparts. Their names are Bill and Terry. Usually Bill is the one to talk to about finding the parts and Terry
is the one with time saving installation tricks or maybe tips is the
proper term. Their number is 888-280-4057.
Hope you find this another valuable "tool" for your Volvo parts source.

mtemarty - I ordered from them because I could get the part quick, shipped to my house (cheap), and I didn't have to drive to Tally.mtemarty wrote:Hi,

I'll post some photos of the broke hose and show what I did to fix the issue temporarily - I just installed a hose clamp and it held enough to keep it in place.
What kind of volvo do you drive? I have been looking for other volvo owners in the area...
