S80 2.9 - tire pressures

So does anyone actually run their tires at the Volvo recommended pressure of 39psi F/R? I usually keep mine around 34-35psi. Any big fuel economy advantages? I find the 39psi rides pretty hard.

I tried different pressures on my 01 T6 when I first got it.

Used the avg mpg on the panel, no significant changes seen anywhere in 30-39psi.

Also had no real changes in mpg with different grades of fuel. Always ran 18-20 in town, 25-30 on the highway(depending on how long the drive was)
