Site where I was working was behind glove box (which was removed).
All the connectors on the orange wires seem tight, but still getting SRS light.
Code is 2-1-2 drivers side airbag open circuit. This is my first time pulling a code, is it supposed to automatically reset the light if problem is corrected, or is there another step to reset?
Where would I begin to track this?
Any ideas much appreciated!

Not sure why your driver's side airbag is showing bad, but I had this happen on my son's 850 and here's what I did... ignition off/battery disconnected. Wait 15 mor more mins. Now, take the horn section of the steering wheel off...you'll see a clock spring mechanism with a white connector that has two pins on it pushed into the airbag (horn section) of the steering wheel...pull it out...clean it with contact cleaner and push it in again several times to clean the contacts... you can buff it up if you want with some fine sand paper...plug everything back up, reconnect the battery and then clear the code and see if it comes back (mine didn't).

Horn and airbag on the steering wheel is the same unit (would have been easier if I just said airbag). Anyway, cock the steering wheel all the way to one side and from behind the steering wheel you'll notice a hole where the bolt is embedded- I think it's a Torx T30 (could be 25) that you'll need to turn the bolt in there- Then cock the steering wheel the other way and do the other bolt too....once both bolts are loose the airbag comes loose from the front.

I've reset it using the B5 circuit.

Just do the same procedure, but using B5
