Wiper Blade Options For Snow

Post by Wipers123 »

I disagree with JRL a little bit. Take a look at Trico Tech beam blades and Rain-X Lattitude blades. These are the "beefiest" beam or flat blades I've seen. The Rain-X are around $20 each though. The Trico Techs are around $11-$14 each. Both are boasted as all-season blades.

Now, you can also kick it old school with winter wiper blades but keep in mind though, that those usually are standard conventional blades with rubber boots over them so snow and ice can't clog them.

No matter what, make sure you don't just measure size and grab them off the hook. Be sure - especially with volvos - to look them up in an application guide or computer box at the store. Now-a-days you can also look them up online. Try searching "lookup wiper size" or something like that and you should be good-to-go.
