CD not ejecting HU-850

Just a tip that I have found out about releasing a CD in HU-850. My CD player was saying ejecting, but nothing was happening. There was no noise or CD error. I couldn't load another CD.

I looked everywhere online and most places said to go to the dealer. I am way too cheap for that, and before I started sitcking knives and screwdrivers into the CD slot I tried pulling the fuse. In my 2005 S80 it was the #10 fuse in the in cabin panel. I pulled it out, waited a minute and then plugged it back in. I pressed CD and eject and the disk came out.

Hope this helps someone not have to replace an otherwise costly and well functioning unit.

Good recommendation. I once had a 6 disc changer in the dash with the slot you load the one into. I thought there was still a spot open, so I grabbed the cd I wanted to stick in, pressed load and proceeded to start inserting the cd. What I didn't realize was that the changer was full so as I was sticking my cd in waiting for it to grab it, it was trying to eject. The one being ejected got stuck, the changer I guess figured it had ejected it. So I used the "pound on the dash really hard" method and it did finally pop out.... next time I'll try your method though
