Upgrade of tires in S70

Post by alvin »

I want upgrade my S70 tires and do not intend to change the size of rim.
The orginal tires are 195/60R15.
Basically it should be either 205/55R15 or 215/50R15.
However, I find that if using 205/60/R15 or 215/55R15, the total change in diameter and circumference is below 2.5%.

Can I use this kind of tires? What will be the performance of new tires?
I would like to increase the control power but remain the comfortability and the fuel cost. Thanks! :)
