newbie - PCV / intake vacuum line

Hello

I have an 04 V70 with 94k miles.
I have an 05 Chev. Avalanche as well. On the Av - iI can remove the pcv valve hose while the engine is running to get suction into the intake. I have rumn Seafoam cleaner thru and it does a great job cleaning out deposits (big puff of smoke after restart)

My question is - where can I find that vacuum to the intake on my v70?
I tried the hose that come up the front on the engine under the the black volvo engine cover (next to oil fill cap) but didn't seem to be an into the engine suction...
