Good day folks,
I have had the frustrating privilege of owning a 2001 V70 2.4T (135,000 miles) and have spent just a little over $6,000 in maintenance keeping this vehicle running. I drive 500 miles round trip to Indianapolis about 5 times a month to go to work and foresee getting to know this machine much better in the future. It is a love/hate relationship I have with my V70, but the gas mileage is great and I feel very safe in the tank. I have made the mistake in the past bringing the car to the dealership in order to have it worked on, but no more. This website has given me a lot of confidence in working on the car (I have always done maintenance on my Jeep and VW) and look forward sharing some of the lessons learned on Volvos. Keep it up and I will definitely contribute in the future to this site...
Regards,
Jan

Welcome, Jan.
What is it with Kentucky and Volvos? Something in the water there?

Matthew,
I was rather surprised to see that many fellow Kentuckians on this forum as well; I am from the SE part of the Commonwealth and I think we got every region/area covered here...
Talk soon
