just got my S40, have a few questions

Hi all,
Just lost my M3 (sad day) and am now driving an 08 s40.

have 2 quick questions:

1. any way to shut off the drl (daytime running lights)??
2. can't seem to find a good spot to install my garmin (without suctioning to window with wires flying around). anyone found a good spot/location for a gps?
