My car's due for state inspection within 2 weeks, and the airbag light is on, which will undoubtedly fail inspection. My question is two-fold:
1. Is there a way to turn it off on my own? If no, then:
2. What can I "typically" expect to pay to have it fixed at a Volvo dealer? I'm worried about getting taken to the cleaners on this.
I appreciate any and all input....thanks.

It really depends on which airbag will need to be replaced. A common one that we change out alot is the SIPS bag which is the one in the seat. They are not cheap. Once you get it diagnosed, post back on here and I'll see what you got going on.
