2004 s60 sun roof

2004 s60 sun roof

2004 s60 sun roof stopped working spontaneously.Removed negative cable for a few minutes (as i have read on the forum as a possible quick fix). Unfortunatly this did not resolve the issue. Other than replacing the EUM....any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Totally dead?
Try re-initializing the roof by locking and unlocking your car THREE TIMES WITH THE KEY, (not the remote) and post back if it got life again.

Alarm system seems to be working, however i'm saying this with the respect that i used the panic button to check it.

No life after locking and unlocking with key 3 times. I've also checked the fuse and its intact.

Im thinking the UEM has maybe malfunctioned. Saw the trhead on replacing the siren module and may take it on in to have a professional take a look.
