My 760 GLE V6 Continental has just had her 23rd birthday,and she looks and drives like new,I would not even consider changing for a later model.This car has everything you could wish for,and still developes a healthy 180 bhp.,The only thing I've changed is the analogue clock,it was the only thing I could hear when driving,so I changed it for a digital quartz,and now I can listen to my ABBA CD in peace.I don't think there's many of these Continenals left in the UK,I have only seen seen one in recent years.I am 70 now and think this car will out-live me!

Pretty Volvo! It looks like you cared for it over the 23 years.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

My old VOLVO has been so reliable,I will never change it for a later model,I like rear wheel drive,(they are a lot easier to work on)and because of the chain driven cam-shafts on the V6,you don't have to worry about a stupid cam belt breaking.The big Volvos aren't fetching much,and people are scared of them,they think they are going to cost the earth to run,How wrong they are.I could not replace mine.Even though it is not worth much.

My 88 760 TIC wagon will celebrate it's 22nd birthday in March. It is in much better condition than the usual American made cars in my area that are 10-12 years newer. I have only had one breakdown in more than 4 years. So it has been very reliable.
