850 Parts swap

Hi-can anyone tell me if the dash, steering column, airbags and automatic gear shifter from a 96 850 will interchange with a 93. My 93 needs these replaced and I have found a guy that is parting out his 96 but before I buy them I want to be sure they will work. Thanks alot!

I am not familiar with the exact differences of the 93 vs the 94 and up models. I do know there are alot of differences though.... Hopefully someone can answer your question for sure

I looked up part numbers in VADIS and the steering wheel changed at the end of the '93 model year, the air bags changed at the end of the '95 model year, the steering column changed at the end of the '94 model year and there are some badging differences.

I'm not sure how substantial the changes are and they may well work fine but the part numbers are indeed different. If you are getting the stuff cheap enough it might be worth a try.

Yea I think it may well be-everything together is less than 180.00-including the airbags. Thanks alot I appreciate it and I will let you know how they turn out!!

I did the change and everything fit perfectly with one exception-the airbag connector is different on the steering wheel bag-other than that it was all good!!!Thanks every one!!!!

O.o so your airbag isn't connected? you might want to look into that!
