960 Sedan 1992 Muffler Construction

What type of construction is used on the mufflers on a 1992 Volvo 960 sedan with multi-link rear suppension? Does it have baffles or is it straight through like a resonator? I would like to use the center muffler on my 88 765. I know that the inlet and outlet pipes are not correct for a wagon and the original pipes would need to be removed and new ones bent. The specifications that I have found for a Bosal center muffler shows 2.75" inlet and 2.5" outlet sizes. That is more than the 2.25" inlet and 2.125" outlet of my Bosal muffler for an 88 765. The muffler body is the same size as the muffler on my 88 765.
