My 03 V70 has developed grunts and groans in the left front suspension.
I have sprayed silicon on the bushings hoping it would help,so far very little
if any change, have 72000mi on the car,It was in storage for yhe past year
and probably dried out,any ideas as to what could lubricate the bushings?

Are your bushings on that side of the car actually leaking the oil out of them? If so, you might need to replace the whole control arm.
Here's someone that had something similar:

Please be more specific.
Under what circumstances do you hear these noises,i.e. when I turn left and hit a bump.
Where (which side)
And what exactly does it sound like
creak
squeek
rattle
moan
whistle
clunk
Could be dry ball joint, tie rod end, sway bar link, all of which get replaced not lubed. Also the control arm bushings notoriously split, but usually don't make noise.
Upper strut mounts will give a thud/ bang type noise when hitting bumps on that corner of the dar where they are broken.

That link to the bushing 2 posts up is mine, I'll be ordering new ones today for the S60.
My '02 V70 also makes creeks on the left front, sounds like it's coming from the upper strut bearing. I'm going to order new front struts and bearings for the V70 today too, all original suspension with 108K on it.
Both Volvos are in good condition and parts are cheaper than car payments.
Glad my 3rd car doesn't need anything done to it.

Be sure to be clear about what you want, at the dealer we call the rubber portion that breaks, causing the strut to bang and rattle, and is the upper spring seat, the upper strut mount. There is a bearing plate up there, above the mount, it's the portion that bolts to the strut tower. Those are usually OK. I have replaced a few for wear.
Re dry bushings All the bushings from the the strut bushing on down from
the shock tower down to sway bar control arms ect.are all ok per my Dealer.
It would be a matter of replacing a part at a time by second quessing which
bushing groans as pushing up and down on the car wil not duplicate the
sound, only shows up when when I drive over undulating roads.
They say its a dry bushing in one or more of them in the left front..
