Looking for reviews on indy Volvo shops outside of Boston

Post by cremmins »

Newbie here - 2002 S80 T6 with 90K miles. This site is incredible.

I recently moved out to the Sudbury/Concord area. I am looking for a good indy mechanic for both regular maintenance and repairs and also for my timing belt service.

There are actually three indy shops in my area and I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with them:

1) T&F World of Service - They are on Rt 117 in Lincoln. They are behind a gas station and their sign says that they specialize in Volvo.

2) Sudbury Volvo Service - On Rt 20 in Sudbury. There appears to be mostly older models in the lot, but he obviously specializes in Volvos.

3) Sweedish Motor Works - In West Concord by the prison. They specialize in Volvos and Saabs.

None of these places have websites (go figure) and I haven't called any of them yet to inquire about hourly rates, etc.

Has anyone dealt with any of these shops? Any advice (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated as would recommendations for other indy shops in the area.

Thanks.
