I'm not sure about if this will work on your car, but on mine, you can take out the glove box and you can see the wiper linkage from there. Again I'm not too sure... I have a 1985 240... Just a guess
If you are lucky, it is just the bolt holding the wiper arm that is loose. Otherwise it is a bigger job, it is nothing that you can reach from inside. You have to take the cover plate away, the one with the air intake between the hood and windscreen. Of cource you will have to take the windscreen wiper arms away and loosen the cover plate. Loosen the two screws holding this cover plate. You will also have to loosen the screew in the center for the ground connection attached to the motorhead. Then slide the cover plate forward. Under the cover plate, you will find the windscreen wiper mechanism and motor and will probably see the problem. It is a little bit tricky to put the cover plate back and succeed in getting the rubber sealing close to the bottom of the windscreen. It is a lot of plastic clips that should fit.
