changed spark plugs, now car wont start

Post by atyrdmom »

I have a 2001 V70 turbo wagon. My husband has done the general maintance of all my volvos. today he went out to change the oil and spark plugs. the car ran perfectly when he pulled it into the garage, but after he finished with the changes, he went to start the car and it is dead. It will turn over, but won't start. Any ideas?

Hello, Did he unplug the coils to remove the spark plugs then fail to replug them? New plugs are close to gapped from the factory so it's unlikely they're all closed or wide open. People on this board have referred to "Lawn Mower Syndrome" but I still can't believe it's real. The stated cure for "LMS" is to crank the engine and pump-up the oil. Were any other componants touched needlessly? Kira
