List of Volvo trouble codes, < 1999 models. Same thing, with a possibility you'll find a forum topic associated with any of the codes. We're working on associating more.

1-1-3 on port A-2 indicates a fuel trim limit. That code is normally caused by a vacuum leak and it is the source of your lambda light.

If your RPM guage isn't working, i'd say you have a bad rpm or speed sensor. Or possibly a bad connection witihin this system. I haven't encountered this issue as of yet, but I believe there is info on this site.

I also have 141 and 142 codes from the A3 port. Is the brake sensor switch faulty? And if so, is this something a novice can replace?
Thank you
Bill

141 and 142 brake pedal position error. Got it. Trying to reinstall the sensor unit but cannot get the spring clip to snap on the the sensor. Have pushed quite hard to rear of car on sensor unit and still the big C clip thingy will not snap into place. Any thoughts? Maybe a new O-ring?
