I put in a CD which I had 'made' myself. It has played successfully in other non auto CD players. I didn't really notice which loading position I was in when I inserted it. I see that one can cycle thru CD01 Load Disc, CD02 Load Disc, CD03 Load Disc, DC04 Load Disc. The disc does not play. I tried to eject it in all four positions i.e. CD01... , CD02... etc.
I get CD ERROR when I get to the CD04 Load Disc position and the disc does not eject.
Anyone have any ideas how to get it out? I haven't tried my PPC diagnostic tool yet. Perhaps I can clear the CD ERROR message but I some how doubt that it will cause the disc to eject.....
Thks.
99 S80 T6 CD disc won't eject.

Tried that multiple times, didn't work.
Of course did the PPC-diagnostic tool thingy and get DTC AUM-44F1 which of course says:
AUM-44F1 4 disc CD changer. Fault in load / eject + E58. Intermittent fault
AUM-44F1 4 disc CD changer. Fault in load / eject + E58. Permanent fault
AUM-44F1 4 disc CD changer. Fault in load/eject + E58. Intermittent fault
AUM-44F1 4 disc CD changer. Fault in load/eject + E58. Permanent fault.
which I already know. Not exactly useful information.
I guess I can try to load another disc, but commercially made, and see if it will work or just let me have two discs stuck in it????

Well I put in another disc and was careful to note the it was at the Disc03 position. It took the CD and seemed to try to play Track 1 but was unsuccessful. It eventually gave CD ERROR message but at least when I pressed the eject button it did actually eject so now only one CD stuck inside it and it won't play any.

Took the unit out after fighting with removal of the Climate Control 'console'. Got the CD by removing front cover from main body of unit.
Reinstalled the unit and buttoned everything up. Inserted a commercially 'stamped' CD. The unit played the CD. Thought 'great, have solved the problem'. Hit the eject button and it wouldn't eject just say CD01 Insert CD or ? then churned for a bit and then the CD ERROR is back and the CD neither plays or ejects.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Someone had put up and answer in the Volvo Forums of UK that had a company name and address in the UK where they claim they can fix this unit.
I did search but couldn't find it post.
Does any one know if there is a play in USA or Canada that can fix this unit or even the name of the UK company?
Thks.
