I have a 2004 XC70 with the HID bulb. Last month my left headlight went out and I replaced it. Two days ago my right headlight went out. I then noticed it flicker a moment when I later started the car. I just put a new bulb in and when I start the car the bulb flickers a couple times and then nothing.
Since it does not appear to be the bulb I checked the fuse and that seems fine. Any suggestions on where to go next? Thanks.

The left Hi-beam on my V70 had a loose wire in the connector. A new bulb did not illuminate but there was no bulb warning on he console. I wiggled the connector wires slowly until the bulb came on and stayed on. Then I replaced the cover. No issues since.
