S40 1.8 GDI OVER REVVING

Hi guys, i have 2003 s40 1.8 with mitsubishi gdi engine, the car is all electronic fly by wire model. I recently cleaned the throttle body and ever since the car over revs at idling, sits at between 2 to 3000 revs, I am at my wits end what to do as the car was ok before i cleansed the body. The car is very difficult to drive in slow traffic as it wants to over rev all the time, normal driving seems to be ok, any hints or ideas for what might be the problem.
