Classy.....

Post by glockyman »

Hey, Im looking for ideas as for accessories or methods to class up my '95 850 Turbo. Its pretty much stock, and is starting to look a little dated. Not really planning on modding it for speed or F&F type stuff, just an elegance thing. Anyone got ideas or sites that offer reasonable kits/items? Thanks.

Thats helps, thanks!

Anyone else have ideas or sites? Im trying to get some ideas, and IPD has a fairly limited selection, particularly when it comes to interior accessories. Though they are a great help.

www.eurosporttuning.com also has some decent interior stuff including dash kits. Also, as far as classiness goes, see if you can get a hold of a shift knob from a 850 T5-R. I picked one up on eBay for a really good price. It's a very nice burlwood knob instead of the boring plastic/rubber one.

What year of T5-R do I need to get? Does it matter? And what's your opinion on wood dash kits? My interior's the grey. Does that fit with wood well?

This might be secondary, but for me the turbo rims got to looking a bit old as well. I think 850s look much better with 5 spoke rims that aren't in the fan/spinning look. Anyway, just a thought maybe when you get new tires or something.

Guest,
I guess it's all in what you like, but for years I've wished my wagon had a set of those 16" Columba fan rims. You don't have them lying around your garage do you?

Yeah, I have to agree with you there Bricks. I love my fan style caps. It really is all in what you like. For example, I hate Fast and Furious-style cars. Drives me absolutely beserk when I see something like a mid-90's Accord with more accessories on it than the actual car's worth. (Thats why my other car's an '02 Beamer 540 :-) fantastic car)

I still have mine on. I guess it didn't come off right. I do like the rims, I just think the solid 5 spokes look a bit better. For now, I still have mine on the car... I usually spend money on things that are needed or would be a better use of my money than rims.
