We passed 1000 Repair Database entries today
We passed 1000 Repair Database entries today, guys. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to write great information that helps other Volvo owners -- the definition of a Repair Database entry.

The shear size of this site still amazes me...over 12 thousand posts, 1000 database write ups, god knows how many members. It's all so amazing. Thank you so much Matt for creating this wonderful place for all of us Volvo enthusiasts...even those who claim to hate their Volvo's

It started as a hobby and now is much of my family's income... so I guess you can say I'm doing what I love
. So you don't have to thank me.
About those who don't love their Volvos, I really think they're few and far between. People don't come here because their Volvos are working fine... people who come here come because their Volvos are broken. It's like working at a medical clinic -- you're going to be exposed to sick people.
On one hand I get angry when users (rare as it is) post that their Volvo is trash and they will never buy another... but a truly "screwed owner" situation is the minority -- not the majority -- of Volvo car repair complaints.
On the other hand I understand the emotion that a broken car causes. Cars are essential to much of the West's lifestyle, and are becoming essential to the East's also. When they don't work we miss work, or can't go to the store to buy goods, etc.
Stay tuned for an upcoming feature that I hope will knock your socks off. I personally think it will make this site half again as useful as it is already, not only for new users but for veteran MVS members.
