2004 S60 repeated low beam failure

I replaced the H7 low beam bulb on the drivers side about two months ago. Now it is out again. I did not touch the glass of the bulb during installation, however the connector block is broken and I had to plug one connector in by itself. The other connectors were still in the block. Is this just a random defective bulb or is there some other problem I should be looking at?

Hey!..I have a 2003 V70 and replaced the lamps 2 x, If you have a volt meter check the connectors for amount. FCP has them for $9.00? one here so.cal..$16.00, stock up. BEST!,

What voltage should I have at the connector?

My connector block is broken too, I wonder if that will have any affect on it?

My connector block turned to dust some time ago, and I just hook the brass connectors seperatly to the bulb. It hasn't seemed to make any difference. My bulbs generally last about 18 months, one was 12 months. This seems short to me, but it has been sonsistant. I run Silver Stars.

I installed a new bulb and hopefully it was just a defective bulb.
