2002 S60 fuse/relay diagram?

Post by _Mowgli »

Hi all,

I bought a used 2002 Volvo S60 last November. It's run pretty well until last week when it wouldn't start.
I finally got the starting problem fixed (the red/green wire slipped off it's spade lug) but now my wipers don't work. I manually removed and inspected every fuse in the block and all are fine.

I suspect a relay, but have no documentation to help me troubleshoot. Doing a search here shows some diagrams for an S90 but I need one for my S60.

If a diagram isn't available, can someone at least tell me what the relays in [FST1, FST2, FST3, FMA1, FMA2, FMA3] are for?

Is there ANY documentation on what each location controls?

Thank you,

~Rick

Did u find the red/green wire that slipped out it's spade lug inside the fuse box or somewhere else?

The red/green wire connects to the starter solenoid. It's a rather poor design, IMHO, to use a spade lug for this connection. Why not use a screw or more secure method given the generally high-quality engineering Volvo has used elsewhere?
