I have a 1997 850, the check engine light came on & using a diag tool, I'm coming up wth code p0755 shift Solenoid b malfunction. Question: does anyone know that that is? I am mechanical and will repair the car myself, if only I knew what that was & how to go about replacing/repairing it. Help !

If you missed putting the car in gear that is when you shifted the handle was located between two detents a code can be thrown. If you have a code reader reset and see if it returns.
