Fitting an adapter for Bluetooth Hands free to SC901

Post by silverback02 »

Hi All,
My apologies if this has been covered before, (If it has Plz show me where cos I can't find it).

I am trying to fit an IO Talk 1 bluetooth Handsfree kit to my
2004 C70 2.4 T GT Convertable.
the car has factory fitted Premium sound system installed, compromising off the following:

SC901 3 cd changer headunit
A RTI cd based system in the dash (utalising the centre speaker conection on the SC901).
a 4X100 Amp (situated in the behind the carpet in the left hand side of the luggage / boot compartment.)
10 Speaker system (2 subs behind rear seats).

If I wanted to REPLACE MY SC901 I would simply use these leads: SOT-084 and a PC9-414:

BUT I DON'T want to replace it. I don't want to add an IPOD adapter, ect ect(Sooo many ppl saying "I just replaced with this or I fitted Ipod & That ect.

The fact that my system has the Amplifier in the boot / Trunk means that the simple ISO leads do not work and others are required.

So, HAS ANYONE previously fitted a bluetooth kit to the PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM (NOT DOLBY or STANDARD) that can give me any tips.

Here's Hoping.
Cheers,
Joe.

Here are some pics of my SC901 and the wireing for it.
