Hi,
I have a problem with leaking coolant. I believe that the leakage is between the cylinder head and motor block on the outlet side, cylinder 6. I have also heard about pin hole problems on motor blocks, which is a more serious problem, but where? Is this a well known problem and what can I do about it?

I, too, am leaking coolant someplace -- looks like the head gasket. ('92 960 wagon) I lose about 1 litre in 400 KM (1 qt every 250mi.) It's not visible and it doesn't drip when parked so it must be evaporating while the engine is running. I'm wondering if it's possible or adviseable to use a Stop Leak product. I've used it before for rad leaks. It lasted about 1 yr, until the rad gave out in other areas. A head gasket job is about $1000, I hear--more than I want to spend on this car at this time.
If you have the pinhole problem in the block, I've heard that J.B. Weld products may hold back the leak for a considerable time. You would have to clean the block very well and scuff it to hold the epoxy.
