Anyone have any questions about their forum account?

Post by matthew1 »

Now that I've got the server at "Stage 0" ;-) (see image of server load [server stress], attached) it's time to move on to making sure I haven't overlooked anything obvious, like MVS Contributor status, or user avatars, etc.

I never got back to my pledge to restore user avatars for those contributors who got theirs overwritten with the standard one:

Instead of tracking down each one of you, I'll ask you to private message or email me about it. Apologies for not handling that issue correctly.

Also, when I change accounts from Member to Contributor, I actually add a second "group" -- in this case the MVS Contributor group -- to the user's account. For a time I didn't take an extra step and explicitly set accounts to be in the Contributor group as default, and I think that may affect how those users are displayed on forum pages. Again, contact me if that's you. I don't want any contributor to go unrecognized unless you choose to be. Every so often someone will choose non-recognition.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
