Stuck Seat

The Driver's seat is stuck in the forward position... both the seat back handle and the bar beneath the seat move freely but the seat won't budge. Ideas? Thank you.

Oh and the car is a 2011, with under 4,000 miles... purchased new in NH, USA. It's a basic model with a 6 speed.

The handle is connected to the lever by way of a cable or linkage. Look under the seat and find the lever. Probably got disconnected.
