Adding a sub and amp to my sound sytem

Post by Trish »

:) I have an amp and sub my friend gave me, but they said that there isn't a way to hook it to my sound system. :? I saw an article about there being a hookup on the back of my radio when I take it out, what do I need to tell my friend so they can get it hook up for me? :?:

There is a round connector on the back of your stock Volvo stereo marked "AMP".
There may or may not be a stock amp plugged into it. ( More than likely, there isn't.)
No amp?, get one of these:

If you HAVE got a factory amp, then one of these will do the job:

Most of all, before disconnecting power to a Volvo radio,
be sure that you have the security code handy!
