Alright,
So I have a sick S40 that is exhibiting a dead climate control stack and dead heater fan. I have taken it to the dealer and they said that there was something wrong with the climate control stack. I took the car home and jumped online and found that there was a recall for a diode. I checked into it and it appears that my car has already had the diode changed out. However the symptoms of the current problem is nearly the same so I'm wondering if we don't have another dead diode. If that is the case I was wondering if that is something that can be replaced without buying a completely new climate control stack as my dealer would like me too. The service Bulletin Number is: 01V169000
