1990 740 GL AC compressor Belt not staying attached

On my second compressor belt. Keeps falling off whe using the AC. Everything seems to be tighten Help

If aligment and the tightness is ok, a belt can not fall off! You can not do anything about the aligment, but probably the belts are not in the correct slots for your 740. It exist a lot of different solutions. To find information valid for your 740, you have to look in the manual for the car. In one of the pages close to the end of the manual you will find a drawing about componets under the bonnet. There you will also find information about belts and in what slots the should be placed.
