2.4 Turbo diesel not starting

Hi all, i'm new on this forum but I already have an kindoff urgent question, my mom has a 740 2.4 turbo diesel intercooler and killed the engine. Not a big suprise as it has about 240,000 miles on the clock. But it is still a very nice car so i bought an engine (same model BTW) changed the cam and fuel pump belt on it and put it in.

But it wont start

It cranks over just fine but there is no fuel being pumped by the fuelpump to the injectors. I know becouse I disconnected one of the fuellines in between one of the injectors and the pump. When you crank it diesel should spray out of it, but it doesn't.

I'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong with the wiring to the fuel pump. If anybody can help me with this that would be GREAT maybe somebody has the schematics for the wiring or maybe some pictures on how it should all be connected? I thought i had it all on the way it should be but it isn't working so I must be doing something wrong

I'm really not used to working on diesel engines so any help would really be appreciated!

Never mind, its sorted. Apparently it can take a REALLY long time for the fuel to get from the filter to the injectors. A lot of cranking fixed it

Oh and BTW if anybody ever needs to bleed the hydralic clutch system, be even MORE patient! Forget about just having somebody pumping the clutch while you let the air out. USE A PUMP and even then it seems to take forever.
