dice reader info. can it program new parts?
Hello, I am new to this forum although I have used it so much over the years. Thanks to all. I want to know who has bought a chinese knock-off dice reader ($650+-). I see them on ebay all the time with software and wanted to know will it program new parts installed. In particular I have a 01 S60 that needs the etm (throttlebody) replaced and it will need to be programed. Or computers, keys, anything that would need to be programmed. I hate to have to put the car on a trailer and take it to the dealership. When I think of having to do that it makes me want to get rid of my volvos. I dont mind spending the money if it will work. I have a 06 S60 awd, 01 S60, and my mom has a 04 xc90 and have owned many others over the years. Love the cars just hate the dealer. I have a reader that will read codes srs, abs, engine, etc... and reset some lights, but want to be able to program newly installed parts. Sorry I am so long winded. Thanks for your help.
