No acceleration above 40-45mph

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

No acceleration above 40-45mph

Post by oizi32 »

I recently bought a 99 s80 t6. The previous owner said it had been sitting for about a month. It need a coil pack and that was basicly all that was wrong with the car. I replaced the coil pack. He had also taken out the air box. He had replaced it with a Spectre air FILTER (no hoses, just a filter clamped to end )but at the time he didn’t have all the parts to it. So it was off. I didn’t drive it much cause no filter or air box in place. When I test drove the car the MAF was unplugged and the car had very little problems. Now that I’ve replaced the coil pack and plugged in the MAF the car will not accelerate above 45miles per hr. It doesn’t cut off but it just kinda hovers then slowly decreases speed. I had Auto Zone run codes and the following codes are what it gave: P0236,0237,0102,0036,0136,0206,0202,0201,0121,0205,0305
From reading the forum, I cleaned the MAF and I got all the parts, stackers/coupler for the Spectre air Filter thinking that would help but no luck. What should I do next? I was going to check the O rings for the injectors, clean injectors with Lucs but don’t know where to go from there? Should I replace Air Box with factory box? Should I take car to dealer for more accurate codes?
