Help with diagonistic.

Our 96 855T started up as usual this morning. Ran a couple of errands.
Went to start it, ran very rough for a few seconds would not stay running.
Ditto, a second time. After that it would turn over but not fire.

Doesn't sound like its getting any fuel? Any suggestions?
We checked the fuel pump fuse.

Fuel reply, fuel pump?

Check for fuel at the fuel rail by taking the cap off of the schraeder valve and using a pen while the key is in position II to push on the little valve thingy. If you don't get fuel, I would first suspect the fuel pump relay and then the fuel pump. If you do get fuel, I would suspect the mass airflow sensor.
