'79 244 DL grill/emblem Topic is solved

Hi all,

As the topic states I have an old '79 I'm in the process of fixing up, problem is the grill emblem is broken and I can't seem to find one of the same style anywhere. (Black horizontal plastic strips...)

Question is...anyone know if the grill assembly from another (later) year 240 will easily retrofit? I found a few early 80's grills at the junkyard...but thought I'd ask about before laying down the Washingtons..

This is the type of grill emblem you are looking for. Any Volvo car from the years 1975-80, will have these type of emblem that'll fit yer car.
