P1352, P0121 and P1238...what do you think?

Post by carboncow »

I changed plugs last week with Bosch plugs recommend by FCPgroton but have been having 2nd thoughts on them since it took a few adjustments to get the car to keep from misfiring post install. I wrote off the concern to not torquing the plugs correctly and posibly allow for some compression concerns...who knows.

Going to find some copper plugs on Tuesday around town to figure this out.

Wife drove car all week and then spoke of rough idle this afternoon at stop signs and lights. Fine at speed...today I got home to confirm a bad idle with the feeling of one plug not firing.

Looks like codes point to bad DI coil #2, turbo gate and ETM which has been replaced once.

Do these three collectively look like pesky plug syndrome where some report that some recommended plugs simply do not behave? As stated I'm going to find plug son Tuesday, reset code and drive.

Your experienced thoughts?
