http://www.tirerack.com

I've been buying my tires from them since 1980 when it was print catalog and telephone. Once they completely replaced a set of tires with a different brand when the originals did not preform well on my truck. Recommended.
2011 XC70 T6 - current
2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Q2 - Totaled in 2022. Not my fault.
2011 XC60 - sold
2000 V70XC - given to a friend, wish I still had it.

If it's all the same to you -- and you're going to buy from Tire Rack -- please use one of the ads on this site. I get a small kickback which helps me keep this web site running smoothly.

I made a Tire Rack promotions page a few weeks ago.

If you want firsthand report of Tire Rack, here it is:

Image

That's a screenshot of my email inbox. (This was all just last month.)

I ordered four Continental 235/45ZR -17 ExtremeContact DWS -- just $123 each -- late on a Friday night, November 19, because that's how exciting I am on weekends. Then on Monday I got confirmation they shipped. About 45 hours later I got confirmation they arrived at Volvo Specialists.

As you can see, I emailed Volvo Specialists service writer Brett to make arrangements to have them put on. Previously he told me they have customers ship Tire Rack orders to them all the time.

At my leisure I took my V70 R to VS and had them balance and mount the tires, making sure they had room for me that day.

If you don't have a favorite shop to have them shipped to like I do, Tire Rack has suggestions of shops in your area that are Tire Rack certified.

It was very easy, and the Tire Rack site is actually one I like to use. It's straightforward and helpful. I never had to call them once.

I didn't get any special discounts from Tire Rack, beyond the fact that by clicking on the Tire Rack ad here at MVS before putting those tires in my cart and buying them, I'll get 6% of my purchase back. They didn't know me from any other customer, and anyway if I'd said "I run MatthewsVolvoSite" for some reason -- like trying to get special treatment -- I'm sure they would have emailed back "huh?"

Remember to click a Tire Rack link or ad before you put tires in your cart. Thanks to you and everyone who uses the Tire Rack links on these pages -- it keeps the lights on around here.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Good prices on both sites. Can you mix front and rear tires? What I mean is can you run 2 snows on the front and 2 others in the rear for FWD both pairs being the same?

In a FWD, yes you can do that without a problem. I have 2 different sets on mine right now. Be careful - I would put your best set of all-season tires in the back; the back ends of S70's like to slide out in snowy/wet conditions.
