This is my 1994 volvo 850 turbo wagon 119k. Can any one tell me were this vacume line hose connects on the other end. and my dip stick has blow back with oil splashed down there would this be the cause of the valve cover leak into the spark plugs any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks. And the picture is of the dip stick and the oil the got splashed down there. so maybe the leak under the valve cover is from the clogged pcv but any advice would be greatly aprechiated.

The black plastic thing next to the throttle that vacuum hoses are coming off is called the Vacuum Tree. It should have around 5 of those vacuum ports, two on one side and three on the other I think. Not all of them are used. The unused ones are supposed to have a little rubber thimble cap covering them. You can get those caps at FCP, etc... or just put some tape over it for now. If you wanted to install a boost gauge, for example, you would use one of the ports on the vacuum tree. So it may just be an uncapped port that isn't supposed to go anywhere. Or is there a loose hose floating around?
If you do not have a loose vacuum, then it should be connected to that port. TBH, I am sure it just needs a rubber cap. I don't remember seeing a vacuum line connected to that port.
yea in the video were i pointed to the disconnected hose i dunno if there was a hose hooked up to it or not i'm not positive but it does suck in air and there was a hose just folded up in between the air filter box, looks like it feel off or something and previous owner didn't no were it went so just tucked it there for safe keeping well if any1 can confirm that it is just supposed to be capped off i would like a few more opinions thanks, and if any1 can still post on the other half of my question about the valve cover leak, leaking oil into were the spark plugs go i would appreciate it. thanks.
check for white smoke coming out of the dipstick tube when the car is warmed up and running. if there is then you most likely have a plugged up pcv system, which can blow oil out of the filler cap. check to see if your oil filler cap seal is soft rubber still or if it feels like hard plastic. it should be soft. i wouldn't replace a bad filler cap seal until you're sure pcv system is in top form. search for "smoking dipstick" or looke at the top of the page at teh pcv system write up.

yea theres defiantly smoke coming out of the dip stick and oil splashed everywhere down there i will take another video tomorrow to show you guys and i am going to the junk yard so i mine as well grab a couple filler cap seals if there OK otherwise i am gonna get it when i go to the parts store but yea i defiantly no the PVC is clogged, now what exactly does this mean i need to replace all the hoses, i saw a PVC kit online for 100$ but if i can grab a decent looking 1 at the junk yard i will is there any way u can show me the parts i need to replace the PVC with to stop it from leaking oil in my spark plugs so i can finally replace the spark plugs and wires and also down behind the engine were the PVC hoses connect it like barley sits on it and when i pull it out the engine bogs down i put it back on but it barley stays it doesn't pop in or anything ( will take a video tomorrow to show u guys) but when i gun the gas it stutters and has no power but when i just drive regular its OK. Its only when i hit the gas hard. when i replaced an inter-cooler hose i got my turbo power back but then it just started stuttering and i took of the valve cover to find oil everywhere. well any input will be greatly appreciated thanks.
yes it is the PTC nipple and it doesnt even like fit in there solid it just rest on top of it i think the lip broke of that it connects to, is this what maybe causing the stuttering? and is this were it would be clogged what exact parts do i need to replace?... and in this PTC nipple is there supposed to be a hose connected to the plastic part sticking out? cause on mine there is no hose connected here i was just wondering if there was supposed to be? look at this picture to see were i am talking about.
I'm not an expert on how every piece of the PCV system works, but it is possible that the PTC Heater being completely disconnected could cause both leakage and stuttering.
If the PTC has already popped out of the intake hose, that might actually make it easier to remove the whole intake hose without breaking the 2 lines that run from the PCV. They're plastic inside the jacket that covers them. Usually you have to take them off first, but you may be able to carefully pull them out of the way. Just loosen the clamp at the back that holds the intake hose onto the turbo air inlet and pull the intake hose off.
From there you'll be able clean the PTC Nipple and see if it fits back into the air intake hose, and if your hose is chipped anywhere, etc...
{edit} I posted before I saw that pic. So if the PTC Nipple is already out, you can go ahead and unclamp the turbo air intake hose and pull it off too. The plastic PCV lines may or may not already be broken. Yeah, that could explain a lot. That PTC does look totally clogged on top I think.[edit]
I'm guessing maybe the PTC was clogged and/or the air intake hose was chipped, so someone just disconnected it. The oil trap may be pushing oil up the tube that runs to the valve cover because it has nowhere else to go.
I just put a brand new Turbo Air Intake Hose on my S70. They're about $90. It includes a brand new PTC Heater too. If your intake hose is chipped and the PTC is clogged, you might just consider buying a whole new one. If you need to do the PCV system too, a kit is about $100. You have to take the intake manifold off, which sounds more difficult than it is.
