Gas smell

Good moring!
For some time now after refueling I get gas smell into the cabin. Goes away after awhile. But only when I fillup,smell goes away. I never try to get the tank to the top when it clicks off I round it off(not to the closest $).
Seems like this is feature but it is not consistant.

do a search on fuel pump recall.

A crack on the fuel pump neck leads to your symptoms and there is a recall for free replacement.
I believe that only '01-'03 V70 qualify, but not sure if '04 is covered.

Volvo should take care of this without an issue. Just make an appointment and have it done under the recall.
