V 50 Air con Radiator problems

Post by bucko »

Recently bought frontal parts for my damaged V50 Volvo(09 plate), these are used parts from a breaker in UK, problem is with the air con rad, which has a housing on the top left hand side, 2 fluid pipes connect to this housing (the pipes are short L shaped made of a kind of Alloy metal and connect to a rubber hose further back, problem is that the connections at the end of the alloy pipes which goes in to the housing are different diameters, but the housing seems to have both diameters the same, hope i can rectify this without having to change the aircon rad,can the alloy pipes be changed,i assume that the parts i have ie the Rad came off an earlier model, and they must have changed the parts slightly,Thanks for reading hope i xplained this as simple as possible.
