I just bought a 98 v70 awd, it has 1 remote with it which seems to work fine,i bought 2 more of ebay with the same freq number idhyq 1512 j put new batteries in them no work,program issue maybe?

You will have go to a dealer and have them programmed or to a garage with Volvo scan tool. The code usually will be provided free by dealer as they can look it up. 99 and later have to have them added a different way.

Think for a minute, did you think you would buy a remote and it would work?
If so, that would mean anyone could buy a remote on Ebay and enter any car he wished to enter.
