ABS Light

My next option is a Black Sharpie to color the indicator light!
The ABS light comes on sometimes at start up. If I shut off and re-start SOMETIMES it is off. What? help?

You have an ABS fault. That system can give codes but if the light in on immediately at start it is usually an open circuit in wheel speed sensors or the power supply relay to solenoids on the modulator/pump unit under hood on passenger's side.

The ABS on my 88 760 acted up. When the light was on the ABS worked fine. When the light was off it acted up. I cleaned the tone rings on the front hubs in June 2009 and the ABS is still functioning fine.
