Engine over running Topic is solved

Can't get rid of this problem.

I have a 2.5 10v manual which has 110,000 miles & has full service history. The engine runs fine but often when I turn the engine off it carrys on running/fireing foer a few seconds. I have tryed using redex in the fuel tank but it has not worked.

This problem does not happen everyting I turn off & is worse when the engine is hot.

Check your wireharness to see if it has been damaged... this happened to our 740 during the summer, you could take the keys out of the ignition and it would still be running.
