V70 2001 auto transmission

Post by flylow »

Okay I've been reading all the post on how bad the 01-02 auto trans are. But my transmission has been rebuilt and all the software as been updated and works great, so does it matter that it's been rebuilt or is it just a piece junk no matter what? Should I sell and look for an 03 and up wagon...

Thanx

If it's been rebuit PROPERLY with the later valve body and of course no stop neutral software, it should be fine,
just make sure to keep that fluid clean

I recommend a transmission fluid drain and fill every other oil change or at worst every 3rd oil change and you should be just fine.
